The gallery is reserved for special and rare exhibitions on selected themes.

The museum has a small display on natural history specimen which displays a narrow range of small mammals, birds and butterflies of Zambia. The display is aimed at arousing interest and public awareness on the need to conserve Zambia's wildlife resources for posterity
